The Week With the (More Than Usual) Network Trouble April 14, 2008

I tried to get the visualization in testing shape for today, but the network wouldn’t hear of it.  Last night I managed to get some work in, when the network would hold a connection for any reasonable length of time, but it took me longer to do things than it should have.  I finally had to call it a night before quite getting to my goal, although considering that the network wasn’t working well most of this afternoon, I’m not sure how much use the visualization would have been anyway.

Now, however, I’m trying to get onto SL to finish what I wanted to finish yesterday, but I’m not having much success.  The wired network is working, but, as usual, is not fast enough to actually log in to Second Life on.  The wireless network, which is what I usually use because a lot fewer people are on it, seems to be nonexistent still.  For the moment I’ve hit a wall.  I’ll try again throughout the night, and keep trying over the course of the week when I get opportunities.

Time worked: 4 hrs.
